ive been looking for day on diy for ipod shuffle 3rd gen. i could only find id for 2nd gen. 2nd gen doesnt work on 3rd gen. hope you can help me

I added a 30-pin iphone cable to my car to be able to be able to charge the phone and send the audio signal to the factory radio. I'd also like to wire up some kind of switch and mount it on the dash to be able to play/pause/skip songs, kind of like how the audio controls on the headphones does it, except through the 30-pin connector. Does any one know how to do this?
